Speaker of Parliament Tsveta Karayancheva and MPs attended the celebration of the day of the town of Sandanski.

Today Sandanski is not only one of the largest and preferred spa centres on the Balkans, but also has preserved its traditions and rich culture, said the Speaker of Parliament at the fireworks parade on Bulgaria square. Tsveta Karayancheva said that the beauty of this picturesque region had been appreciated by the Thracians, Romans, and ancient Bulgarians. Here one can find a unique combination of history and nature, mountain and valley, clean air and healing mineral springs, she added.

Sandanski’s most valuable asset are the local people of hard work, entrepreneurship, and initiative, emphasised the Speaker of Parliament. They are the future of the town, an inexhaustible resource for its economic development and welfare, added Tsveta Karayancheva.
