The Parliament ratified the Sixth Additional Protocol to the Agreement on the Multinational Peace Force South-Eastern Europe.
It represents an amendment to an already ratified treaty of a military-political nature, such as the Agreement on the Multinational Peace Force South-Eastern Europe, signed in Skopje on 26 September 1998.
The document reflects the necessary amendments agreed between the parties to the previous agreement and its five additional protocols between the parties as a result of Italy's withdrawal from the agreement in 2015. They do not lead to a change in the participation of the Republic of Bulgaria in the initiative with additional forces and funds, as no additional commitments have been made and no posts have been negotiated beyond those previously occupied.
