Desislava Ahladova-Atanasova has been elected for the Bulgarian Minister of Justice by a vote of 98 in favour to 45 against and 1 abstention and she took an oath before the National Assembly. She is the successor of the resigned Daniel Kirilov.
Ahladova is a former Deputy Minister of Justice. After the elections, the new Minister thanked Members of Parliament and expressed her hope to justify their trust.
Cabinet members and Vice Prime-Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva who presented Ahladova's candidacy were in the chamber.
