The Vice-President of the National Assembly, Kristian Vigenin, accepted H. E. Temirtai Izbastin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Vice-President of the National Assembly, Kristian Vigenin, accepted H. E. Temirtai Izbastin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan at his request.
During the meeting Mr. Izbastin informed Mr. Vigenin about the upcoming parliamentary elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which will be held on 10 January 2021.
The bilateral relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the future cooperation between the two countries were also discussed.
Temirtai Izbastin noted that so far there has been no visit of the President of the Parliament of Kazakhstan to Bulgaria and he and Mr. Vigenin expressed hope that after the elections in both countries there will be one, which will be a strong signal for the relations between the two peoples.
