The Chairperson of the Friendship Group Bulgaria-Mongolia Desislava Atanasova received the Medal of Honour Druzhba on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The award was presented by the Ambassador of the Asian country to Bulgaria Dashzhamts Batsayhan.

Thank you for this assessment, which I interpret as a high responsibility, pointed out Desislava Atanasova. She expressed her hope that Bulgaria and Mongolia will continue their good cooperation and will develop their valuable friendship.

The Druzhba State Award is one of the highest awards of Mongolia and is awarded by decree of the President of the country for great merits for establishing, strengthening and developing bilateral relations. The medal is made of silver and is round shaped with a diameter of 36 mm with a convex edge on the circumference.

At the event was awarded the Director of the Asia, Australia and Oceania Directorate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nataliya Misheva.
