The Parliament rejected President Rumen Radev's veto on the Act Supplementing the Criminal Procedure Code, which creates the office of a special prosecutor investigating the Prosecutor General or their deputy.
The amendments to the CPC were supported by 125 MPs, 77 voted against, three abstained.
The Parliament rejected President Rumen Radev's veto on provisions of the Spatial Development Act.
The amendments to the SDA were supported by 122 MPs, 57 voted against, one abstained.
The Head of State disputes the provision that the change of the purpose of a building which is connected to education, science, healthcare or culture requires the prior written consent of the respective minister.
