Meeting - National Assembly Chairman - Lithuanian President

Today, 22 November 2005, National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski conferred with the President of the Republic of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus. The Lithuanian President is on a two-day official visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Georgi Parvanov.
The problems of the European integration, the process of ratification of the Treaty on Bulgaria's Accession to EU, as well as the opportunities for stepping up bilateral trade and economic relations and relations between the parliaments of Bulgaria and Lithuania were among the highlights of the meeting.
