PRESIDENT OF NA – AMBASSADOR OF GREECE – MEETING

The President of the National Assembly Prof. Ognian Gerdjikov met the Ambassador of Greece H.E. Mr. Michael Christides before his final departure.
Prof. Gerdjikov stated that he highly appreciate Mr. Christides’ efforts as Ambassador to Bulgaria. “You have special merit for the activating of the dialogue between our countries”, added the President of the National Assembly.
The Ambassador of Greece said he would leave Bulgaria regretfully. “Our mutual relations were considerably improved at all levels”, His Excellency underlined. “Greece is a strong supporter for Bulgaria’s aspiration for NATO and EU membership", he added. “I hope the new Ambassador to succeed in establishing still better relations between the Parliaments of both countries”, Mr. Christides said.
