On the first day of its official visit to Croatia, the Bulgarian parliamentary delegation, led by National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski, met with Croatian Parliament Speaker Vladimir Seks.

Priorities in the activity of the Bulgarian and the Croatian Parliament, as well as opportunities for interaction between the two legislative institutions, were discussed in the course of the meeting.

Pirinski expressed the Bulgarian Parliament’s readiness to share its experience in the process of Euro-Atlantic integration with its Croatian counterparts. The active interaction between the European Integration Committees of the two parliaments was one of the highlights of the talks.

The Croatian side assessed as very useful Pirinski's proposal that the two parliaments could assist the efforts for setting up a direct airline between Sofia and Zagreb.
