On 8 March 2006, National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski will attend the voting of the draft resolution on the ratification of the Treaty of Accession of Bulgaria and Romania to the European Union at the Portuguese Parliament. Later in the day, Pirinski will confer with the President of the Assembly of the Portuguese Republic Jaime Gama.

On 9 March 2006, National Assembly Chairman Pirinski will be a guest of honour at the inauguration of the newly-elected President of the Portuguese Republic Cavaco Silva.
