On the occasion of the 63th anniversary of the rescue of the Bulgarian Jews during the Second World War, on behalf of Parliament, National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski will lay a wreath at the plaque commemorating the deed near the building of the National Assembly, 2, Narodno Sabranie Square, on 10 March 2006, Friday, at 11.00 a.m.

On this day every year the Organization of Jews in Bulgaria Shalom commemorates the rescue of the Bulgarian Jews from deportation to the Nazi concentration camps during the Second World War and pays tribute to the Bulgarian Parliamentarians who contributed to it.
