Meeting - Bulgarian parliamentary delegation led by National Assembly Chairman Pirinski - Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi

A Bulgarian parliamentary delegation led by National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski is paying an official visit to Japan from 20 to 26 March 2006.
Today, 23 March 2006, the delegation met with the Prime Minister of Japan Junichiro Koizumi.
Bulgaria's preparation for EU membership was among the highlights of the meeting. Japan shows understanding that the process of cooperation with Bulgaria is entering a new stage, Pirinski said after his meeting with Koizumi.
The prospects for parliamentary cooperation between Bulgaria and Japan were discussed by National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski and the accompanying Bulgarian MPs and the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Japanese Parliament Yohei Kono and Japanese MPs earlier in the day.
Today, 23 March 2006, the delegation met with the Prime Minister of Japan Junichiro Koizumi.
