A Bulgarian parliamentary delegation, led by National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski, will pay an official visit to the Republic of Austria on 5 and 6 April 2006. The visit is at the invitation of the President of the National Council of Austria Andreas Khol.

The Bulgarian delegation includes:
- Mr. Evgeni Kirilov, MP of PG of Coalition for Bulgaria and Head of the Parliamentary Bulgaria-Austria Friendship Group;
- Mr. Vladimir Donchev, MP and Deputy Chair of PG of National Movement Simeon II;
- Ms. Maria Cappone, independent MP.

The Bulgarian parliamentary delegation will meet with the President of the National Council of Austria Andreas Khol, with the President of the Federal Council of Austria Sissy Roth-Halvax and with the Federal President of the Republic of Austria Dr Heinz Fischer.

The programme of the visit also envisages meetings with the Chairs and representatives of National Council Committees on Foreign Affairs and on European Union Affairs, with the Head of the Parliamentary Austria-Bulgaria Friendship Group Matthias Ellmauer and with the Federal Minister of Economy and Labour Dr Martin Bartenstein.
