National Assembly Chairman Pirinski will take part in the Conference of Speakers of EU Parliaments in Copenhagen

NATIONAL ASSEMBLY CHAIRMAN PIRINSKI WILL TAKE PART IN THE CONFERENCE OF SPEAKERS OF EU PARLIAMENTS IN COPENHAGEN
29 JUNE - 1 JULY 2006
National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski will take part in the Annual Conference of Speakers of European Union Parliaments and candidate countries, taking place in Copenhagen, at the Danish Parliament (the Folketing).
Interparliamentary cooperation and the future of Europe, including an exchange of information on the period of reflection and on the future of Europe, will be the main subject under discussion.
The conference will be opened by Mr. Christian Mejdahl, Speaker of the Danish Parliament and addressed by Mr. Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Prime Minister of Denmark and Mrs. Margot Wallström, Vice-President of the European Commission.
The forum takes place every year and brings together Speakers of European Union Parliaments, President of the European Parliament and Speakers of Parliaments from candidate countries.
