National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski received today, 24 July 2006, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Daniyal Akhmetov, who is paying a two-day official visit to Bulgaria.

The development of friendly relations between Bulgaria and Kazakhstan, the deepening of interparliamentary ties, the prospects for expanding trade and economic cooperation and the role of the two countries as geopolitical security and stability sources were among the highlights of the meeting.
