The 40th National Assembly adopted a total of 221 laws for the period between July 11, 2005 and August 31, 2006

A total of 221 laws were adopted by the 40th National Assembly for the period between July 11, 2005 and August 31, 2006. One hundred and thirty-two of these have been related to EU integration. The Parliament also passed 165 resolutions and 8 declarations.
Over the same period, a total of 445 draft laws were submitted to Parliament for passage, of which 222 were introduced by the Government.
